Devices are setup for DHCP by default, but will fall-back to static IP settings if DHCP is not available.
Default IP Settings:

Reset Switch Operation:
Sub Category Header:0-2 secs= Initiates a Hardware Reset (reboot)
2-10 secs= Enters Console Mode
>10 secs= Resets to Factory Defaults
