If the player chooses to side with Seed and let him continue the occupation of Hope County, we see him get in the car with the Sheriff, and the screen cuts to black as the radio plays the infamous song Seed uses for brainwashing his vict
As Arthur and John race to the front cars, they’re met with heavy resistance. Train cars erupt in fiery explosions, causing them to derail and fly off the tracks. During a break in the fighting, Arthur and John discover and mount up a Gatling gun just as dozens of lawmen race in next to the train on horseback. Right before the gun is ready, a guard sneaks up and shoots John in the shoulder and causes him to fall off the tr
If the player finishes the game with a dark aura, the player will reunite with the allied tribe Sifu, who will decide to destroy the tree of life and end all life on the planet, hoping that nature will rise again anew. At this point, the player, the tribe of Sifu, and anyone the player chooses to save will enter a spaceship that is hidden underground, and they will watch the destruction as they fly a
Updated on June 9th, 2024, by Ritwik Mitra: The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is full to the brim with a wealth of Stranger missions, side content that feels almost as fleshed out as the main campaign's missions. One such Stranger mission puts players in contact with Henri Lemieux, the mayor of Saint Denis, and his deputy, a man by the name of Jean-Marc Mercier . Jean-Marc operates as the deputy for the corrupt mayor, whom he hates with every fiber of his being, and Arthur's actions during these Stranger missions govern whether he uncovers the mayor's corruption and becomes the new mayor of Saint Denis, or is killed by Arthur under Lemieux's orders.
It doesn't get much better, or more unique, than Saint Denis. Red Dead Redemption 2 is primarily concerned with the approach of modernization and civilization, and Saint Denis is its physical embodiment. It's by far the largest city in the game, its streets packed with wagons, pedestrians, and hor
The Star Wars prequels are by no means perfect. Despite their flaws, though, the Star Wars prequels do have a solid plot at work. Literature is rife with powerful tales of heroes' tragic spirals into becoming the villain, from the once honorable Macbeth's betrayal of his king and country to Harvey Dent's path to becoming Two-Face and Walter White's journey from hardworking family man to maniacal drug lord. Every medium has them, and video games are no exception: from Bioshock 's jarring "Would You Kindly" revelation to the groundbreaking moment players realize Dormin's plans in Shadow of the Colossus .
Red Dead Redemption 2 Patch notes Dead is uniquely positioned, though, in that it can take the stories of the previous games which established the gang's tragic demise because of their erratic leader and wind back the clock to a time when he was still a hero. Before there was Vader, there was Anakin, and before there was the Van Der Linde Gang, there was Du
Another entry from Rockstar Games , the GTA franchise is known for its evil protagonists. Technically, every success for the player in the series is a win for the bad guys, but in the DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, it's the antagonist who truly w
The entire town is in complete disrepair, complete with crumbling buildings , collapsing docks, and even a sunken boat just resting in the water. The site is also quite unique in that its citizens serve as the local police force, shooting anyone (like the player) who makes trou
GTA V stands out in the Rockstar canon for its experimentation - specifically, the three protagonist system. Rockstar took a major risk in making three protagonists and forcing the player to cycle between them. It could have been horribly sloppy and confusing, and it could very well have ruined the g
Red Dead Redemption 2 has its fair share of train robberies amongst its many bank heists and other various jobs. Maybe it's because train robberies are a staple of the old west that they’re used so often, but nevertheless RDR2 makes each train robbery feel different and keeps them spread apart enough so that the player can enjoy their time with the mission instead of it feeling like it’s the same mission repeatedly. If there's ever a RDR3 , Rockstar can always up the ante and improve upon the train robberies to add an even better vari
Jean-Marc may be a side character, but it doesn't take long for the man to prove how honorable he is. He works as a lieutenant under Henri Lemieux, the mayor of Saint Denis , who regularly engages in corrupt activities for his own gain. After Arthur accompanies him on a mission given by the mayor himself, Jean-Marc is actively displeased by the tasks he's being forced to carry out, making it clear that he doesn't want to work for such an unscrupulous individual anymore. He's a man who believes in the concept of honor and doesn't want the city to pay for the mayor's misdeeds, which is understandable.
