Armadillo is a much different town in this game than it will be in just a few short years, with John finding it nearly deserted due to a plague. The quiet and simple land of New Austin may not have the hustle-and-bustle of Saint Denis or Blackwater up north, but it still has many unique encounters for the player to experience. While these experiences don't necessarily add anything to the gameplay or provide any special privileges for the player, they could still be exciting for completionists who want to get the most out of Red Dead Redemption

At the end of the game, after a long investigation into an arson conspiracy that involves corrupted and powerful individuals such as the mayor, chief of police, and even Phelps' former partner Roy Earle, Phelps dies a hero to save Ira, the one witness who can unmask all of this corruption. But in the end, the accused make a deal with the DA to turn in other conspirators, and they themselves get to walk a

The original Red Dead Redemption tells one of the best stories in the wild west setting, with memorable characters and a heart-breaking ending. The federal agents kidnapped the family of former outlaw, she said John Marston , and tasked him with working as a bounty hunter in return for his family's free

In the end, we seem to have succeeded in reuniting John with his family. But the government doesn't hold up its end of the bargain. The army attacks the player's homestead, and John sends his wife and son to safety and returns to face the invaders. But he is met with a brutal and sad end, dying in a hail of bull

Clearly, he is passionate about the city of Saint Denis, and doesn't want it to be run by corrupt men like Lemieux. This honorable nature makes him a stand-up character, although such idealism can be met with a cold, brutal death in the Wild West. Such is the fate that this man can possibly be exposed to, based on the choices that Arthur makes during this side mission.

But Red Dead Redemption 2 proves the exception, and some feel that the game looks noticeably washed out and rather colorless when HDR is activated. But u/solsikkebby loves it, writing , "I like the washed out, fake HDR look better." Many people would disagree, favoring colorful landscapes and general brightness over a drab palette, but to each their own. This is an unpopular opinion after

They write, "The gunplay is way too easy and the stakes of the story seem so small . I don't feel like the game has big enough consequences to really engage me and the fact that I can abuse the auto-lock aim system doesn't help." Quite an unpopular opinion, especially considering players have the option to turn auto-lock

Gamers will first meet Jean-Marc at the Mayor's party, which Arthur attends. Shortly after the party, the Mayor will contact Arthur, who will work with Marc to track down Shiftacre, an art reviewer threatening to expose the Mayor's fraudulent paintings. After speaking with Shiftacre, it is clear that Jean-Marc despises the Mayor's slimy and corrupt practices. In the end, Arthur will have to either side with the Mayor or side with Jean-Marc. Here's everything players need to keep in mind about whether to kill Jean-Marc in RDR2 .

Lemieux is worried that Jean-Marc will turn on him and expose the corruption in the city. He also mentions that Jean-Marc could spread rumors about Arthur's illicit activities. Players will then need to travel to Jean Marc's home, which is in Rue De Zacharie just south of the A in Saint Denis. Gamers will spot Jean-Marc attempting to open his door, and a cutscene will initiate. Arthur will knock him out on the spot. Next, Arthur will need to take Jean-Marc back to the Mayor's house without being seen. This step should not be too difficult, as it will be nighttime. Still, players should try not to attract any unwanted attention that can force them to retry this step of the mission again.

The 3D open world was unlike anything seen in gaming at the time, and the level of freedom that the game afforded its players was simply unimaginable. This game singlehandedly launched the industry into the 21st century, and its reverberations are still being felt to this

The Mayor will ask Arthur to bring Jean-Marc around to the back of the property. Once players are in the courtyard at the back of the mansion, they should drop Jean-Marc to initiate the final cutscene. Lemieux will coax Jean-Marc into thinking his life will be spared, but the Mayor's intentions are much more sinister. Jean-Marc does not help his case by calling the Mayor corrupt to his face. It may be a move that shows how bold and fearless he is, but it doesn't take too long for him to show a desperate side that doesn't rear its head all that often.

If John chooses to antagonize them, he will threaten to steal their horses and will lose honor. John can instead choose to wish them well. As they leave, the man's wife will ask if they have enough water for the journey and whether he fed the hor
